Pre-order offer and prize draw terms
Last updated: 7 November 2026
1. Who runs this offer
The pre-order offer and the launch party prize draw are run by Tobin Capital Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12557981, whose registered office is at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX (“we”, “us”, “the Promoter”). You can contact us at admin@thepowerofselfdoubt.com.
The offer is run by the Promoter. It is not run, sponsored or endorsed by Pan Macmillan, Harriman House or any bookshop.
2. Agreeing to these terms
By claiming a pre-order bonus or entering the prize draw, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
3. Qualifying pre-orders
- A qualifying pre-order is an order for any edition of The Power of Self-Doubt by Luke Tobin (publication date 18 May 2027) placed with any retailer before the publication date, at the retailer’s normal price.
- To claim, submit the claim form on this site with your name, email address, retailer, order number and number of copies. If you enter the prize draw or claim a Team bundle, you must also upload a copy of your receipt or order confirmation. Please hide any payment card details before uploading.
- Bonus claims must be submitted by 11:59pm UK time on 18 May 2027.
- We may check any claim with you and ask for further proof. A claim is invalid if the order is cancelled or refunded, if the proof is not genuine, or if the claim breaks these terms.
- The retailer sells and delivers the book, and its own terms govern your purchase, delivery, cancellation and refunds. We are not the seller. Corporate orders are the exception: section 4 explains how they work.
4. Pre-order bonuses
Individual
Access to the Vault, which contains: your full Self-Doubt Profile report as a personalised PDF; all 16 profiles in full; your other three archetypes in full with their tools; the Doubt Matrix; the Failure CV, 30-day courage tracker, hard-conversation planner and doubt journal worksheets; field guides to the four faces and phone lock screens; the team workshop kit; and any interviews, extracts or other materials we add to the Vault from time to time. The contents of the Vault may change, but the core resources listed here will remain available until at least 18 May 2028.
Team bundle
For 10 or more copies bought in a single order. Everything in Individual for every reader, plus one 30-minute video call with Luke for the purchasing organisation’s team. Calls take place between 7 November 2026 and 30 June 2027 at a time we agree with you. There is one call per qualifying order, however many copies it includes.
Corporate orders
For organisations buying copies for their employees. Corporate orders are arranged by emailing orders@thepowerofselfdoubt.com. We will confirm the price, minimum quantity, delivery arrangements and bonuses in writing before you order, and those written terms apply alongside these. Corporate orders include the team bundle bonuses, and we send them to the organisation directly, so no claim form is needed.
For all bonuses
- Bonuses are for the person or organisation that made the order. They cannot be transferred or sold, and there is no cash alternative.
- Digital bonuses are licensed for your personal use only, under our website terms. You must not copy, share or reproduce them.
- Digital bonuses open in the Vault on this site as soon as you submit a claim. We may check claims afterwards and withdraw access if a claim is invalid. Scheduled bonuses, such as Team bundle calls, are arranged within 14 days of approving your claim.
- If a bonus becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we may replace it with something of similar or greater value.
5. Launch party prize draw: who can enter
- The draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, and to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia aged 18 or over, or the age of majority where they live if that is older. The draw is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- Employees of the Promoter, Pan Macmillan and Harriman House, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the draw cannot enter.
- We may ask winners for proof of age, address and identity before awarding a prize.
6. How to enter
- The draw opens on 7 November 2026 and closes at 11:59pm UK time on 31 March 2027 (the “closing date”). Entries received after the closing date will not count.
- No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Buying the book does not improve your chances of winning.
- Entry by pre-order: make a qualifying pre-order and submit the claim form on this site before the closing date, ticking the box to enter the draw. There is no charge to enter beyond the normal retail price of the book.
- Free entry: complete the free entry form on the pre-order page before the closing date.
- Free entries and pre-order entries have an equal chance of winning.
- There is one entry per person, whichever way you enter and however many copies or orders you buy. Entries made in bulk, by automated means or through third parties are invalid.
- We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or incomplete, or that fail to reach us for technical reasons.
7. The prizes
- There are up to three prizes. Each winner gets one place at the launch party for The Power of Self-Doubt in their home country: London for UK winners and New York for US winners. The parties will take place in May 2027 on dates to be confirmed.
- Each prize includes:
- return flights or train travel, whichever applies, within the winner’s home country, between their nearest major airport or station and the party city, booked by us
- one night’s hotel accommodation, booked by us
- We cover travel and accommodation up to a maximum of £1,250 per UK winner and US$1,600 per US winner. Any costs above this are the winner’s responsibility. The approximate retail value of each prize is up to £1,250 for a UK winner or US$1,600 for a US winner, and the total value of all prizes is no more than US$4,800. The prize does not include travel insurance, identity documents, food and drink outside the party, spending money, or any other costs.
- Winners are responsible for holding any identity documents they need to travel.
- Travel dates are set by us around the party date. If a winner cannot travel on those dates, the prize may be forfeited and we may draw a replacement winner.
- Prizes cannot be transferred and there is no cash alternative. If the party is moved, changed or cancelled for reasons outside our control, we may offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
- Winners are responsible for any taxes due on their prize. US winners must provide a completed IRS Form W-9, and we will issue an IRS Form 1099 where required.
8. The draw and the winners
- Winners are chosen at random from all valid entries after the closing date, by 14 April 2027. The draw is made by a verifiably random computer process. The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.
- Before confirming a prize, we will check that the winner’s pre-order is still valid and has not been cancelled.
- We will contact winners by email within 7 days of the draw. Winners must reply within 14 days to accept the prize and confirm their details. If a winner does not reply in time, or is not eligible, the prize is forfeited and we may draw another winner.
- We will publish the surname and county (or US state) of each winner, or provide them to anyone who asks, for one month after the draw. Winners can object to this. If they do, we may still have to share their details with the Advertising Standards Authority if it asks.
- Winners may be invited to take part in publicity, but this is optional and not a condition of winning.
9. General
- We may disqualify anyone who breaks these terms or acts dishonestly.
- We may change or end the offer or draw where circumstances outside our reasonable control make this necessary. If we do, we will act fairly and tell entrants on this site.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for any loss arising from the offer or the draw unless it is caused by our negligence or breach of these terms.
- We use your personal data as set out in our privacy policy.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live in the United States, nothing in these terms affects any rights you have under the laws of your state that cannot be excluded.
